Now that my final product has been completed I have turned my attention to preparing for the Final Presentation Night at my high school. This involved extensive work on my product to make it into a more presentable format. For all of the maps that I created I decided to overlay maps of the states in order to show a better reference to where exactly the pipelines are located in the United States. This was surprisingly more tedious and time consuming than I originally planned as it involved measuring and moving the map in the exact right position to get an accurate representation of the placement of my pipelines.

The next big thing that I focused on was my presentation which I believe totalled in about 49 slides of information that I will be using in my 30 minute presentation next week. I decided to stick to the “brand” I have created through ISM to make my powerpoint match the rest of my work such as my portfolio. I then decided to get feedback on my presentation from my mentor. Considering the fact that my mentor has extensive knowledge and experience in delivering research presentations I thought he would be a good resource. After talking with him I was able to make a few changes that allowed my presentation to flow better and be a bit clearer on the information I was trying to share.

The majority of my time early in this week will be spent on polishing everything I will need for Final Presentation Night which shows the accumulation of everything that I have done and worked on throughout this year. I am really looking forward to the presentation night because I believe it will allow me to showcase all that I have accomplished this year and be able to share that with my family and friends.
