As I have continuously reiterated throughout previous posts my final product was due this week and I am extremely happy and proud to report that I was able to turn in a quality and finished product by the deadline. While it looked as though I was going to be working down to the wire, some time management skills earlier in the week allowed me to finish it on time. I have to brag just a little when I say that after significant restructuring of my program and my plan I was able to create a blueprint of new pipelines that runs throughout the gulf coast region. These new pipelines reduce the amount of new lines by over half the distance. This is a huge accomplishment and most definitely meets the goal I was striving for. The amount of relief I felt after completing the project and realizing that my process and plan actually worked was huge. It most definitely made me feel like a weight had been lifted and I could move onto the next steps in my ISM journey.
While I was able to complete my final product there are still a few finishing touches that I would like to add before final presentation night, my next big deadline. I think most of this will include cosmetics and perhaps a bit of restructuring in order to make sure that the maps and figures fit seamlessly into my data. I am still riding high from the completion of my product and my hope is that this motivation will carry me through the next couple of weeks and I can deliver a solid presentation at Final Presentation Night.
