Just Keep Working

While I have made significant progress on my program and was able to figure out some of the problems I was facing in previous weeks, I am still struggling to ensure that my program is accurate. This is a problem that after many trials I continued to face so I decided to reach out to my mentor to ask for his advice. My mentor pointed me to a new formula that should give me more accurate results. I plan to implement this new formula in the coming weeks.

In all honesty, this week has not been extremely exciting on the front of my final product. It has consisted of a lot of trial and error when it comes to my program and my hope is that next week I can really finish my program and move onto the next steps of my project. While writing this program has been exciting and interesting, I have found these last couple of weeks and these last couple of problems to be quite tedious. I am itching to move onto the next phase of my project which will include connecting the carbon sources to the current infrastructure. I have already begun to talk with my mentor about how to do this and am looking forward to this coming portion of my project.

Overall, this week has consisted of completing more busy work and I hope to be able to really complete some things in the coming weeks. This next week will be focused primarily on finishing the program that I am working on and then begin working on the mapping section of my final product.
