Some Confusion then Simplification

The majority of these weeks have been spent figuring out how to incorporate some different calculations into my current program in order to make it more sophisticated. The biggest problem I am facing is how to calculate something that is known on a linear plane, on the spherical plane that is the globe. After talking with my mentor I was able to come up with a much simpler solution that allowed me to utilize some of the skills that I have already learned throughout my current math classes. It was quite invigorating to be able to use some of my previous knowledge in order to solve the current problems I am facing with my Final Product.

There are times, especially throughout these two weeks where I have questioned whether or not I am far enough along in my final product. While I have hit some rough patches while writing my programs I think the mastery that I will be able to show and the longevity that my program will have is worth it. I am concerned that it will require some extra time throughout the next couple of weeks but I think that I can definitely make that happen.

My main focus for the coming weeks is to make significant progress on my program and really perfect the logic behind it. I will be simultaneously working on mapping these points. Overall, these weeks have not been as productive as I would like them to be, but I hope to improve productivity and make significant progress on my final product.
